SHARING OUR STORIES – Dena Levin

Both my novel, The Unexpected Connection, and my play, Keep Walking, address online dating. In both, the message is to recognize who we are, love who we are, and meet the world feeling empowered. I recently saw the play, #Date Me, which was a spoof on online dating. Audience members were asked to describe their dating adventures especially their worst. That experience gave me the idea that it would be fun for us to share online dating stories that are humorous, poignant, or even sad. From those stories I hope each of us can recognize that we are each unique, that we must love ourselves, not allow ourselves to feel denigrated but find our inner light.
